Migrate to Asteris for WordPress
Asteris is designed to be installed alongside whatever you’re running today, so you can verify it works on your site before you remove the incumbent. No flag-day swap. No “deactivate first then pray”.
For SEO, that means one-click importers pull your titles, descriptions, schema settings and redirects from Yoast (RankMath, AIOSEO, and SEOPress importers land in v1.1). For the rest, it means co-existence mode — Asteris detects the incumbent and stands down on overlapping settings until you’re ready to switch.
Pick your starting plugin
- From Wordfence Premium → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris Security + Login + 2FA covers brute-force, 2FA, file-change monitoring, geofence, and Application Passwords. Run side-by-side, validate Asteris coverage, then disable Wordfence.
- From Yoast Premium → Walkthrough coming soon. One-click Yoast → Asteris importer in the SEO module. Imports titles, descriptions, schema, redirects, focus keywords, social cards.
- From UpdraftPlus Premium → Walkthrough coming soon. Run both for one backup cycle, verify Asteris restore on staging, then disable UpdraftPlus.
- From WP Mail SMTP Pro → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris SMTP supports the same 6 provider presets. Configure Asteris, run a test send, then deactivate WP Mail SMTP.
- From MonsterInsights Pro → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris Analytics + Pixels uses the same GA4 measurement ID. Disable MonsterInsights after Asteris is collecting (GA4 deduplicates events, but a brief overlap is cleaner than a gap).
- From WP Rocket → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris Performance ships a safe-defaults profile. Compare against WP Rocket’s current config; turn on Asteris Performance, verify Core Web Vitals stay green, then disable WP Rocket.
- From Smush / ShortPixel → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris Image Optimisation runs against your media library. Run a bulk optimise; verify; disable the incumbent.
- From WPForms / Fluent Forms / Gravity Forms → Walkthrough coming soon. Existing forms stay on the incumbent. New forms can be built in Asteris Forms. Importers for the major form builders are on the v1.x roadmap.
- From WP Activity Log Premium → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris Activity Log captures from a wider event set. Run both for a few days; compare coverage; deactivate WPAL.
- From Code Snippets Pro / WPCode Pro → Walkthrough coming soon. Asteris Code Snippets supports the same JSON export/import format. One-click import.
